Hey Tom, I am LOVING mine!! Edge retention and sharpenability are both top notch in my book. All the claims of it being very close to a stainless CPM-D2 are valid, IMO. I also have millies in S30V, D2, BG-42 and M4. After carrying and using the XHP version, I think it might be my favorite steel so far, beating out the CPM-D2 due to it's corrosion resistance. Just got my pre-order in for M390 so we'll have to see how it holds up against that next spring. :D

I'm loving the XHP on the millie! Takes a very nice fine edge for me and it seems to hold that hair whittling edge quite a bit longer than S30V. I find it easy to work with too.

Havnt got my hands on mine yet its on layaway =(
However I love my manix XHP ! the edge takes a disgustingly safe edge! The sharper the safer =P sigh.. so many spydies so lil free cash.
