I preorder last knight for an M390 carbonfiber Military. I have a while to wait though.

My last purchase was a Dragonfly Tattoo for someone's birthday present. I haven't even gotten to handle it! (It was really tough, but I didn't want to get my fingerprints on it since it's not my own. ;) )

My last purchase for myself was a Pacific Blue Kopa. I've always wanted a Kopa since they first came out, but didn't really have the funds for it until recently, so I snagged it. :D

I'm getting really close to picking up one of three:
1. Dragonfly G10
2. Sage 1
3. Chaparral
So we'll see what happens next.

Got two,

Catcherman, love the toxic green, never owned the original and my Endura needed a friend.

Warrior, this knife just called to me, can't explain it, but I will assume that some of you have had that same feeling ;) .

UKPK G-10 in safety orange. I needed a Spyderco that was legal to carry around here. And I dig bright and fun colors. And the G-10 UKPK is discontinued so I grabbed one while I still could. Couldn't resist the cute little Squeak either but this one is still in the hands of the Postal Gods :-)

Congrats to all that have purchased new :spyder: 's. My last purchase was the smallfly and trainer.
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Where are you that you have to worry about legality? I'm lucky. I live in Florida and "by the book" folders over 3" is illegal but I called the local Sheriff's dept when I started buying knives and the cops didn't know any of the laws. I live in a small town where there is lots of hunting and fishing and knives. They even thought it was funny that someone would call to ask. :)

My most recent editions (last two weeks or so) have been a G10 Endura, had to snag that one lol, a new UKPK, and this past week I picked up a Military DLC in camo. If funds permitted, I'd have others in the mail right now. So many I need to pick up lol.
Manix 2 DLC, Delica 4 FFG, Ladybug 3,County Comm H1 Ladybug 3 , Endura 4 FFG G10, C94 UKPK Leaf, Atlantic Salt, Military Camo DLC,Sage 1 Para 2 DLC, Delica 4.

Thanks Jabba. Seems like there are several countries that have very strict knife laws. But, even in the USA laws vary from one place to another.

I picked up a Chaparral. It is small enough so you never know it is there in your pocket, but large enough to do anything I normally need to do in the city.
It has displaced my other knives for daily carry. At times, I want smaller, but I usually don't need or want anything larger.

Just bought a Titanium Lum two weeks ago.
It is one of the 450 first production.
Although I bought it as NIB, someone had dropped the knife out of the box and nicked the blade spine. Tiny, but can't really call it new after that.
I bought it for $65.00 shipped from Dealer on another knife forum.
Because of the damage, I don't consider it collectible and now carry it.
I like it so much that I bought a Sprint Run Green Almite version of the same knife last week. Tracking # says I get it Monday, Sep 19th. It's going into the safe after I check to see if it's actually NIB.
If it is, I think I got lucky on it as I paid $68.00 + $4.96 shipping. We'll see.
Three weeks ago, I got a NIB Dragonfly Tattoo. Opened it a couple of times to make sure it was not damaged and it's in the safe. I also got a NIB Police in SS, PE the same day I got the Dragonfly. And, I just got a used Police G-10 PE yesterday. Waiting for it, too.
I have over 50 Spydercos now, and still need to get some more. They don't appreciate and are good investments, plus, I get to look and feel them. Best of both worlds.

Congratulations on the Chaparral. The next knife I buy will be a Chaparral. Normally I have at least two that I will pick from when I decide to buy a knife. For the first time I know well ahead of time which one will be next. Also, for the first time I now own a knife that I would keep if I only could keep one without even thinking about it. Sage1 (3 weeks old). They are very similar (except for the lock). It's only taken me 6 years and maybe 25 knives to now have the one (or will be two?) I started looking for "in the beginning". I wonder if the Chaparral will replace the Sage as the "one to keep" when I get it.

jackknifeh wrote:Happy birthday in advance. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Sage. I got one recently and for the first time I can pick which knife I'd keep if all others had to go. The Sage1 is easily the one I'd keep even though I'd hate loosing the other ones.

Do you know what to do right after a birthday? Start working on the Christmas gift list. lol

Jack
Thanks.I've got that Christmas list going already.

SS Kiwi: b/c my other "HUGE" knives like my big bad Delica were "banned" from work. But I'm planning on a Dragonfly next. I like the Kiwi for what it is... just not my favorite.

Saber Grind Endura PE: Wanted a knife that would take a beating and not make me feel guilty while also being a great EDC. Love my Delica and VG10 so it was the logical choice. Absolutely love this knife! Hasn't left my pocket since I got it... my beloved Manix2 is getting jealous I think
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms..disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.
