Just wonder how bad that it gets. Don't want any of your weather. Regards, Jerry.

KEN: It is an Earth Stove from 15 years ago. So efficient that it doesn't need a catylytic converter. Last estimate was that I have put 100 tons of wood through it in the last 15 years. Heats the house with the help of a small space heater. The blower in front is great but doesn't have a thermostat so I use a time switch to turn if off at night. After seeing countless flu fires caused by a wood burning stoves and creosote build up, I installed a single wall stainless flu from the stove to 3 feet above the chimney. The stove burns so hot that creosote is not a problem. Nothing like wood heat. Lots of hauling and splitting wood adds to the overall effect. Jerry

Are you talking Celsius or Fahrenheit?
BTW, cute cat <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I also have one similar to yours. Her name is Mimi. (And I also have another white cat, Bianca). Great animals, those cats <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

We have about 7 degrees Celsius at the moment. I hate it. Much too warm for the time of the year..
Last year the weather was much better, at least our dog thought so.

I live on California's central coast. Right now it is sunny and warm, it is like that all year. I have been walking around in shorts and a tshirt during the day. The high is in the lower 70's and the lows are in the low to mid 40's.

Last week was really nasty, highs around 10F, lows around 0F. Not hard if you can prepare for it, but walking around Uni makes wearing 15 pair of socks an irritant. Going from a 10 degree, -15 wind chill to a 85 degree room makes it impossible to properly dress.

Never underestimate the impossible.

Well, it hit a "draft" temp of 35

degrees ( Fahrenheit <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) in the $h*thole

and the yokels were bundeled up like it

was the "Russian front"! And We almost

lost our usuariously priced orange crop

*tsk,tsk*<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I got all these odd looks

from these "birth defects" ( NOT by

virtue of the "EnduraHawk" mind, THAT

goes right over their heads!) but that

I had on my S.African bush jacket (VERY

lightweight, but'll handle these

pathetically mild temps <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) over my

regular casual attire.I Wonder what

these folks would do if it dropped

below 35 degrees!?! ( Meebee they'd go

to S.America or something like that!<img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>)

*tsk,tsk*

Just came across this.

+50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 C): Californians shiver uncontrollably.
Canadians plant gardens.

+35 Fahrenheit (1.6 C): Italian cars won't start.
Canadians drive with the windows down.

+32 Fahrenheit (0 C): American water freezes.
Canadian water gets thicker.

0 Fahrenheit (-17.9 C): New York City landlords finally turn on the
heat.
Canadians have the last cookout of the season.

-60 Fahrenheit (-51 C): Mt. St. Helens freezes.
Canadian Girl Guides sell cookies door-to-door.

-100 Fahrenheit (-73 C): Santa Claus abandons the North Pole.
Canadians pull down their ear flaps.

-173 Fahrenheit (-114 C) Ethyl alcohol Freezes.
Canadians get frustrated when they can't thaw the keg.

-460 Fahrenheit (-273 C) Absolute zero; all atomic motion stops.
Canadians start saying "cold, eh?"

-500 Fahrenheit (-295 C): **** freezes over.
The Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
