25th anni.. what #?

[From Linda's email to me about 4 days ago)

I have your anniversary Delica in, it is #52. Great number, isn't it?

--------------------

What number do you guys have or have coming still(like me, as soon as I can get it)? Any how many intend on having it live in a display, never to be carried and fondled?

You happy Spydie collector!

Congrats to such a low number. I would love to have one but cannot afford it atm. <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I put my order in either the same day or the day after the new models were announced... Limited run of 500, so I had to get in early.

Lil Temp is my January purchase(month end), hoping to be able to get the 25th for my bday in march... means about 130CAN/check to set aside... and 200/month rent on a 600/month job.

VW,
Wait till you see it. Awesome. Best workmanship since the old jigbone Horn. I got #37. Trouble is, it's more like jewelry. Not sure I could ever carry it, but it's sure pretty to look at and play with.

Just waiting for the brown truck, should be here tomorrow. #78 - can't wait to handle and admire it. Don't think I will ever carry it. Pato when Linda told me that all the ones at the factory were spoken for,I found one at Sawyers Cultery in Massachusets for $210. E-mail me if you want the phone #, not sure if they have more.

#000 ; It is UNLIKELY I'll ever buy

one of THESE! No clip. So it's either

"in display" or "in pocket" ( and here

in Ft.Laudy/Florida it requires a $117

permit to carry it "concealed"<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) And

furthermore, the price seems to

continually spiral down, judging by

these post(s). I don't see ANY "high

bidding" action for these going on

( Meebee if I WAIT ( what else!?!)

about 25 years, it'll escalate in value

that is, IF I live to be 65, OR if

"Gulf War II" doesn't turn into "WWIII"

and We ALL get vaporized by the

"nukeys"<img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>) So I'll just "sit this one

out."

VW: I could think of a 2 digit number that would be nice to have, but that should be mentioned in a forum more limited to mature audiences <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> :D j/k

Patogordo,
I have one coming in from Linda, but I noticed there was one (#059) for sale at the German webpage; www.Bladeshop.de
They "ONLY" wanted 499,- Euro for it (535$!!)
You also get them at Ebay from time to time...

Sawyer's Cutlery is where I get all my Spydies (collector's #144), but I had to pass up on my 25th Anniv. Delica - just couldn't afford both the 25th and the WTC at around the same time. I wonder if they got mine sent there anyways.

Oh, they have good prices, good service and they now have a website: <a href="http://www.sawyerscutlery.com/">http:// ... ry.com/</a>.
