I bought a Cold Steel... Seriously (a review)

I'm a Spyderco fan/owner, but realize there are manufacturers that make a niche item that Spderco doesn't make or make as well, and I buy it. Visa Versa as well with Spyderco being the best or only choice for some niches.
This knife is a a feather weight, small profile that gives you hand purchase like a much bigger blade, is hard use utility capable and is sub $20. Spyderco isn't making anything like that right now at that price point. They got 200lbs hanging off this thing without failing for goodness sake! Granted as discussed ad nauseum, it's not fully indicative of real world use, but still. A Ladybug is the category match up to do the comparison with.
No hating- just my honest opinion. The ladybug is not really a comparable knife. I don't think there is a spydie that it could be directly compared to. I would say the Dragonfly is more comparable than the Ladybug. It has a similar size handle and a choil. Closest match would be a Wharcom.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I don't think that anyone here was hating. I own Kershaw and CRKT knives so I am not totally a Spyderco fanboy (in fact I am equally hard n spyderco knives where I see something that I don't like)...so my statement, looking at them side by side the Cold Steel looks cheap, is based on what I see. I am sure that the knife is perfectly functional and well put together for it's price range, just in that picture the Cold Steel looks out of place.

There was enough "hatin' " in the thread ( modern definition - not "hating" in the traditional sense, more close to being snarky), on a sub$20 dollar small heavy duty locking blade that looks to be a great value and tough at what looks like 2.5 - 3mm thickness,
Aesthetic beauty is in the eye of the beholder - to me, those FRN colored scales scream cheap looking because of those Spyderco-looking crap knives you see in the plastic jars at hardware & sporting goods shops!
