Just curious..

Ok, so I'm gonna be going out of town for a coupla days in early September and I was thinking about what I'd carry. The Saver and Ladybug Hawkbill Salts comes with me everywhere...but I was thinking about taking a larger folder with me as well...you know, just in case. Basically narrowed it down to the all black Pacific Salt, the Spyderhawk Salt, or my Paramilitary 2. So which out of these blades would you guys take? Just curious...thanks for playing along... :)

All depends where you go and what legal restrictions are. If 3.5" blade is OK, out of your list I would take para2
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf"

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I would take the one that is the easiest to replace in the event it gets lost / stolen / confiscated, etc. If it's only a couple day trip, you don't wanna lose something that has meaning or sentimental value.

I would take a Para 2. I don't feel right without it. For me the hard decision would be whether to take my S30V or 20CP version. If I was flying, I'd probably take the S30V. That way, if it got lost or stolen, I wouldn't feel so bad.

Caly~3.5 (VG-10 & S. Blue); Para2~(20CP~M390~S30v); Military~(M390~S30v); Endura & Delica~4~FFG; Native~(S30v); Caly~Jr.~(ZDP); Manix~2~(M4); Ladybug~3~(VG-10. SE); Mules~(M390).

PM2 if no worries about length restriction. If worries, any delica, but especially one of the crayola colored ones--purple knives are less scary.

Great choices, but the Para 2 would be a hard one to leave behind. There is a certain comfort that you get when you tap your pocket and feel the edge of the Para 2 and know that you are prepared for anything.

I would take the PM2 just because I don't like the edge holding of plain edge H1. The serrated H1 knives are supposed to be better holding an edge but I haven't tried it out yet.
