Not sure, but I don't think so. I can tell you from first hand experience that you don't need a glass breaker on a knife to break a car window with very little effort :) .

They should sell the Lion Spy at Bank of America. That way, you can go in, apply for a Home Equity loan and if accepted, you can purchase your knife.

I think I might opt for the balloon financing.

But, I need a new knife! I don't know if I will make it until the end of august without buying another knife.

That makes 1 of us :) . I would be all over this if it was integral like the SR-1, but since it's not, have to think about it some more.

Sr1 is missing one very important feature...the spydie hole.

kinda what I was thinking. If its not too heavy, Ill give it a look. Not so sure about ELMAX, never even seen some, seems to have a good rep though.

Yeah, ideally I would like a model with the hole and one pc handle. I would def buy that. It's just hard for me to justify this when the integral AL version is $230.

Sal posted over on bladeforums last week:
I'm carrying one right now. We have some in, but not enough to begin shipping. I believe we're getting more next month.

I heard that the new LionSpy was supposed to be released on 11/30/2011. Does anyone know when about it is really suppose to come out. I know they never come out on time. This is my dream knife made hand crafted Italian knife. Callaborated with Spyderco my all time favorite knife company. This is what I have been waiting for being from Italian decent.

Yes, right after you buy two other spydies to keep the cravings down.
