Look, it's made of "Steiness steal." As in we stole your name and we can't spell.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Ha! I missed that. :o

The same seller has several other items with brands and athletic logos that are probably not legitimate either.

i have to have one-i heard thru the grape vine that steiness steal is a german made super steel,it was developed to be used as the top of a beer stein -

originally mined by chuck norris in a super secret location known to only him-it was the first steal that could cut his beard and not dull-some say it was found by a Sasquatch chuck befriended, who now swims it across the ocean for chuck, making daily deliveries to the factory's in china

as a "steal" snob i must have this ;)

No one will unknowningly bid on this and actually win. I have taken care of it, as long as no one bids over 1000.

This seller had two of these listed. I contacted the seller and advised this was a fake and that Spyderco has never made this kind of knife. Told him it was a counterfeit and informed him of Spyderco's website to see the genuine knives they produce. He quickly wrote back stating he had no idea they were fake and said he'd pull the listings. Looks like he did. He even went to thank me for letting him know.

The seller must know his knives - he called this one a "dagger". Ohhhhhh. Doesn't he know that this makes it a restricted item in many locales? Tsk...tsk...tsk...
