Looks like a UKPK to me but in black?????

Fake UKPK from China, missing leftie clip position, which is not to be seen, but look at the original box. Beware and do not buy.

I found this listing and had the same questions. I didn't recognize the knife and the box looked very strange.

Wow, that isn't a normal knock off. That knife looks legit. I would fall for it on an Ebay listing.

If it was a real Urban, it would be VG-10, not S30V. As noted, it's that frighteningly accurate fake UKPK from China.

Urban's are also made in Japan, not Golden.

It is not the Danish DK knife.

I actually bidded on one just like that.THEN I figured out it was a fake after the fact.I told the guy to keep $5. He did list it as a clone.I thought clone meant it was Spyderco re release or a model with different size or some type of sprint run.It will never happen to me again.sticking with known suppliers from now on.

Even has Sal's sig... I'm not sure why they spent all this time to get a fairly realistic duplicate - and then messed up on the steel marking, clip mount, place of manufacture stamp, box, etc.

If they spent just a *little* more time fixing these things, then this might be a very difficult scam to detect...

I almost got fooled by this one, too. I was a bit suspicious and emailed the lister about the box and handle material. He said the original box was damaged and that box in the photo was only for photo purposes. He also said that the handle was "G-10 I think." Glad I didn't bid. They are out there...

Sheesh, haven't had a look at the fake section here. This is shocking. Just browsed the sellers feedback section to find out who the buyer of that strange Urban is. Sent him a message, telling him it might (most likely is) be a fake knife. Too bad it's too late to really do something about it.
