I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

I just checked the tracking on mine: in two days it's been scanned 13 times. It's now showing as in my postal town so should be here tomorrow. Not bad for US to UK over a weekend (if it gets here tomorrow...)

Nice , pics , I hope these show up like the tanto lum did and its easy to pick one up. I know they were on preorder though. We will see.

Arillon . I picked up my second gray para yesterday . I think it will earn a great reputation. So no regrets . I think if the brown millie dribbles out then pre orders may take a little time to fill. So I am hoping to have the funding again when the opportunity arises. Like I say a gray in the hand is worth 2 browns in the bush. :)

I'm hoping I'll be able to snag one of these great looking earth brown millies eventually (but I wouldn't trade one of my gray para 2's for one).

Thank for the pics, finedges! I can't wait to get mine, the brown G-10 looks so handsome.

This, along with my Manix 2 in XHP and my Para 2 in 20CP will give me a nice mini-collection, the triumvirate of earth-tone G-10, Carpenter Steel sprints. I wouldn't mind a Para 2 in XHP and Tan G-10 or something, to have a XHP trilogy. I love the Carpenter sprints because they are affordable, yet they give you all the perks of a Spyderco sprint--exclusivity, a special color material, and a high-performance steel that's not available many places. We're lucky to have Spyderco providing us with all these awesome knives in such awesome materials!

Mine arrived from KW yesterday. I knew straight away it was a "keeper" so I re-did the bevels and took it out today: the earth brown looks good on a grubby user!
