Hi Calyth. Yes that would be a misprint. The Chinook II is lighter.

The Cool: Happy to be of service.

I love being an agent for pent-up demand.

THANK YOU RORSCHACH!

I was hoping someone would post some pics from the new catalog. The Dodo and Cricket are at the top of my list. Do we know when they'll be available?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments about the catalog.! Olive and Eric here at Spyderco bust their chops to get this done, I'll let them know you like it, they'll be tickled.

Everyone that has emailed me up to 1/6/03 AM has a catalog coming in the mail. If you've emailed me and have not see your catalog withing 7 business days please, don't be shy about letting me know. I'll get another out to you ASAP.

The Chinook II and the SS Cricket are my "needs" from the 2003 catalog--and by the way, thanks again for the copy! The Anniversary Delica also looks amazing--if the price isn't too high that'll be Spydie #3 for 03'

Got mine,One question. Why is the engraveing service not listed in it like it is in the dealer catalog?

I learn something new everyday, even though I don't want to. Jeff

Hi,

Engraving is listed in the dealer catalog and not the PDR because to order engraving directly from Spyderco (just like purchasing directly from Spyderco) you have to be a registered dealer or distributor. Sadly it's not a service we can offer directly to the end-line-user or all of our shop time would be eaten up on one-or-two-knife- individual engraving orders. Hope this helps answer your query?

Joyce

Can a person order specialized engraving on a single Spyderco knife if it is ordered through a dealer? Or can dealers only order such engraving on multiple knife orders? This wasn't clear from your post above.

Thanks!

David

Good Catalog. One thing I missed was the hardness was not included.

Knife Knut on a shoestring budget. RKBA
