count me in for the Military (EDC for the past 9 years... before that, the Goddard Lightweight (lost on a trip) - before that, the original Endura (till the plastic clip broke) - before that, the 2 screw Military in ATS-34, and finally, in 1987 I bought my first Spydie, the 'Economy' from Cutlery Shoppe... (my first spyderco, and first non-Gerber edc...)

I've only been buying Spyderco knives for about 5 years and only have 10. I've been carrying two knives for a while now, small one to use on small tasks and pull out when a larger knife might offend someone (I quit worrying about that recently). Also, the larger knife for cutting tasks that require more strength, longer blade, etc. From my experience the Manix2 is the knife I would keep if I had to get rid of all the others. I have two, the Manix2 with M4 blade and one with the 154CM black blade. Both are perfect IMO as far as engineering and manufacturing. With the Manix2 I can do the smaller jobs and it is also tough enough to do the harder tasks also. With a 3 3/8" blade it isn't that large either. Normally, until the blade gets 3 3/4" or longer it wouldn't shock most people. So now I don't feel the need to carry two knives as much. I still do though, Delica FFG ZDP-189 (B-day present from son) and Manix2 M4 FFG (B-day present from me :D ). But from my experience the Manix2 is the best I've used.

Delica SS...pocket friendly, great blend of comfort and control, just enough weight to feel solid, and quite simply full of class, all at a great price.

If greatest means the one I want to carry the most, its PM2 without a doubt. Its comfortable, big enough, but not too big in both blade and pocket space, nice blade shape, I like the big hole and have always been a fan of the compression lock. Spyderco got it right with the bushing system. My blade will free swing if I pull the lock in but has zero play. Finally, it probably doesn't hurt that its a CF/S90V variant.
On order: Maxamet Native 5
Current pocket hog: S90V Para2
