I really like this one! I'm not new to knives by any means, but having just cut the dickens out of my finger two days ago, this knife looks like a winner! I love the large FFG blade and the security of the handle. The only thing I wonder about, is with the flat spine all the way through, it looks like your thumb rests directly over the compression lock. Is there any danger of accidentally releasing the blade, should your thumb bump the lock? After a while of hard cutting, when your hand starts getting tired, I could see myself starting to get a little sloppy over that lock...

Hey welcome aboard Niles :)
The compression lock takes quite a bit of emphasis to unlock. Not that it's difficult just more intentional.
I did like the Adventura to the extent that I have one despite hating SS handles. My big question was how this new model would fit my big hand. It fit just fine, so I'll be getting one.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
