Sal,
I got my first Spyderco (Endura) about 4 years ago while I was in the Army. I could't have been more impressed. It has been through some ultra-hard use (bordering on abuse) and is still as rock solid as the day I got it. Earlier this week I recieved my Starmate and Sharpmaker. WOW!! QC on both these products was excellent. The Starmate is now my daily carry, and will be for a long time.
Thank you,
Shane

That you do it appears. I'm fairly new, only got the bug 2 years ago and aside from the product being as good as it is I'm equally impressed with your presence in relation to the consumer. When I first joined and the owner of Spyderco’s actually replied to my post I was quite flabbergasted (if I can use that term in this context, English is my third language), such a thing is unheard of here in the Netherlands among corporations of any kind.
Led me to watch the 2 part videos by blade hq of the inner workings of spyderco. Very sympathetic and inspiring manner of conduct, I would love to see more of that someday.
Hopefully visit the headquarters someday, I do believe I have your towns adres on all my pm2's. I'm sure I'll manage to find it from there.
On that note, does spyderco offer factory tours?

Hi Dodgie,
Digging up an 18 year old thread? Thanx for the kind words.
I'm sorry, we don't offer tours, but our store is interesting and is open 6 days per week, should you get to Golden.

I guess he did like me, clicked on your profile and went too the very first posts you made n this forums back in the year 2000, this thread is on page 531 of your posts Sal :p
amazing how some things are the same while others are completely different from 18 years ago in this forum

Haha! I'm sorry! I search engined to find a thread that was on the topic of the team behind spyderco, because of my interest in how it's done and inspired by the bhq videos and wanted to ask if any more or future endeavors like that were plannend. Had a few tabs open but I'm confident I picked the wrong one. I usually tend to go for less ambiguous titles and the likes.
From other fora I've come used to the idea of starting new threads on already widely discussed topics is frowned upon so hence the revival of the Spyderco knut
Still kind of you to take a moment and reply. Was kinda embarrassed when I read it was ancient called out on it so I thought about letting it die again, but a thank you is warranted anyways so here I go again with an apology in advance. May the thread rest in piece hereafter

no worries at all, :o
I for one often enjoy the revival of old threads that are interesting in content or show how the opinions and views of knife nuts have changed through the years,
like digging 2001-2002 threads saying how extremely unnecessary is S30V because no one will push it to its limits on their knives :p

Hi Dodgie,
No problems on my end. It was interesting to look back so far.
