I'd have to go with the Caly series. I only have a Caly 3 now but have owned and enjoyed a Caly 3.5 and a UKPK. Very ergonomic, low-profile, functional EDC's.

For me it is certainly original (bolstered) Persian family: large, small and sprint. Also I really Calys (with strong preference to latest generation of Caly3/3.5 and G10/CF UKPK)

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I don't know if it fits your criteria for a series, but I love the Ethnic series. Persians (big and small), Kris, Khukuri, Navaja, Chokwe, Barong; all beautiful knives, each with an interesting heritage. Along similar lines, I'd say the Schempp series (if you can call it that) is amazing as well. It encompasses most of the ethnic knives as well as the superbly designed Rock Salt and Balance.

Well, the H-1 line is what got me into Spyderco in the first place. Will the Yojimbo count as a series when the second one comes out?

For using, it's gotta be a tie for me -- Mili series and Caly series. The Kopa series, though, was absolutely great for the variety and beauty of materials used in the handle inlays.

Hey, that's funny..I was thinking the EXACT same question a few hours ago. My answer then was the Calypso family. Caly 3 and 3.5 are 2 of my favorite knives ever, and I also consider the UKPK a calypso variant.

Sage and para/Military series are also up there.

Chinese Lum family. The green Lum is the knife that sucked me in. They're so unique as well as attractive, smooth and versatile :D

Wonder if the PPT has a category that'll fit it

I'd say the UKPK and Caly series of spydercos are among my favorite.

If the ethnic series were to count, I'd choose that. Too many great designs not to. Otherwise, the Manix series is amazing.

For my favorite series i would have to go with the Dragonfly. It may be small but it has a mighty bite.
