All it takes is one goofball newbie bidder to make things crazy.

They aren't even sold out on bbs yet. If I had the extra $ to bid on that knife I'd put 2 on pre-order again.

One incentive might be that the eBay seller offers worldwide shipping.

I guess if you don't want to buy from the dealer at the regular price and spending more is what interests you then that was a bargain at $360.00 ;)

Like Paul said worldwide shipping may have helped it but even then a quick search would find a 100% feedback seller that ships worldwide with a BIN of $300, but again saving 60 bucks obviously wasn't what the bidders were looking for. I hope it was someone who had a two second sniper bid to outbid the last bid and they got bid up on purpose.

In addition to the worldwide shipping, it looks like what helped drive the price up for this one was it being one of the first 200 produced.

The worst part, I see things like this on eBay more and more often. People buy for stupid prices without doing a research. The other day Military G-10 Black blade, was going for $210 and the auction was still going. Not as HUGE of a difference compared to the price mentioned above but the point is, it just gives the other sellers a reason to increase their prices.

e-bay was always a fun to watch. Lately actually not that much as it used to be.
