I am horrified by this. 1k bail? Bystanders walking by?

Like several of you, I find it impossible not to act in these situations. Have before, will again. And if I die doing it, I'm more or less ok with it. Personally, I think that everyone who walked by/saw and did nothing, should be charged as an accessory to the crime.

There are few crimes more horrifying than rape. As a shrink I have to help people deal with the consequences. As a man, it makes me sick that we allow such things to happen to women.

Skullbouncer, is this country really “… a desert of decadent liberal chaos.” really. Get a grip, man; we’re all in this together. I for one would appreciate it, if you’d keep your personal political biases to yourself; I come to this forum in order to avoid the constant barrage of hateful political BS and spin from both the right and left. I find it embarrassing that you’d welcome a new member to this forum with such commentary.

I'm pretty sure I side with Tim on this. Methinks you may want to spend more time thinking.

Far from ideal. But the way the world is now, it's an improvement none the less.
