AS YOU KNOW THE cricket is a pretty awesome blade, the SS framelock cricket was my first spydie,
I just imagined the thin sleek cricket beging even LIGHTER with titainium, Just an idea for the 2011 kine up hey, who knows maybe sal will come by this and give it a shot? Just my opinion let me know what you think....

Give me a titanium framelock and a G10 scale on the other side and we have a deal.

From what I've seen, when you make a titanium framelock it has to be thicker than stainless steel. You probably will not lose much weight, but you will have a larger overall thickness of the knife.

I like the idea, but $100+ for this little guy would really be tough to swallow. I would vote for re-release in a few different frn colors though. That would be epic!

I agree, the price would be too much for me--but a Ti RIL/G-10 and ZDP Cricket would be sick. I immediately liked the idea of a Ti cricket when I saw it, but I probably wouldn't buy one since there are other ones out there I need more.

I also concur with a FRN version, I wouldn't mind it being exactly the same as the old FRN ones. Also I like the etched version, wish that was still around.

I furthur concur.A run with about 5 color options like with the E4 & D4 would be stellar. But I have heard that Sal didn't like the "flimsy-ness" of the FRN scales on the Cricket, so maybe use G1:D

I'd rather the H1 version over the Ti version. Fully SE would be my preference.

Sorry man. Even though the idea of a Ti cricket has been thrown around here a few times before, most people seem to agree they probably wouldn't shell over the money for it. It's a great idea and it seems to make perfect sense to me though. Plus I don't know how spending roughly ~$100 bucks on a smaller knife is so ridiculous especially when you have some spending much more on Spydies like- the demascus Delica, Fluted Military, etc, etc. But I guess the demand just isn't quite there yet.

Me personally though, I think Ti is a great addition to any knife!

Hmm, tough choice. I love my SS Crickets and I love Ti. I guess I have to agree with the majority though. Not enough bang for the buck.
