I would guess you're right - G10 is relatively cheap, easy to work with and available in many colors from many sources, although I am sure Spyderco is relatively demanding about the quality of the G10 they use.hunterseeker5 wrote:Compared to the other processes which go into making these knives, a batch of G10 in whatever color is pretty much an afterthought. G10 is almost always really cheap.
It could be any color and I would buy an M4 Para 2, but I hope it will be a fairly dark blue if it's going to be blue.
And since I missed out on the Gray G10 and the S90v carbon fiber ones, I will be following this one closely in hopes I can get on a list in time to get one (or 2) this time.

I for one wish they would ease back on the number of sprint runs of this knife until they are able to reliably and consistently supply the regular Para 2.

I pretty much agree with you. I waited maybe 4 months to get my stock Para 2 because they ran one or two production runs before they went to the CF/S90V sprint run.Jay_Ev wrote:I for one wish they would ease back on the number of sprint runs of this knife until they are able to reliably and consistently supply the regular Para 2.
Well, who knows, the price of the stock Para 2's was kind of high for a while. If you wanted to pay double the street price, you could easily have one.

You can get one now for $100 shipped over at Howes and he has quite a few in stock.Donut wrote:I pretty much agree with you. I waited maybe 4 months to get my stock Para 2 because they ran one or two production runs before they went to the CF/S90V sprint run.
