Because of that green background it looks nearly identical to the FG one! lol.

Sounds like another great Manix...same weight at the FG?

I know what you mean. I wanted something more earth tone, perhaps a light brown.

As far as the knife goes, I think the CPM-M4 blade steel makes it worth keeping. I like the handle shape more than the Gayle Bradley so it's a better user for me. As for the 2nd one, who knows? :)

I think you guys are thinking something like coyote brown? The standard brownish shades in G10 are tan (what we have here), coyote brown (a frequent Strider color) and earth brown (a genuine brown). I would have preferred CB, but this is fine, and it will probably grow on me. I'm very happy to see yet another Spyderco M4 blade. We need an M4 Para2 sprint so we can have both S90V and M4 in a four-knife suite: Military, Para 2, Manix 2 and MT.

Nice knife. I like it. Was a bit pricey though. Most expensive Manix2 I have purchased thus far.

I don't buy knives as investments, but I think over time this will sell for more than it was originally sold for. :)

Still haven't received any bill or notification yet--the Manix 3 should be out by that time, though :)

I was told my order is in the next shipment. I'm not complaining, just wondering where the delay lies?

1. Spyderco is still making them. Bento waiting on Spyderco.
2. Knives sitting in Spyderco warehouse waiting for Bento to ask for them.
3. (My choice) Knives are in shipment from Spyderco to Bento as I type and we'll all get our invoices in a couple of days.
4. (Probable) There are considerations I'm unaware of and everyone involved is busting their butt to get them to those waiting patiently  , as fast as possible.

Just sent payment off for mine.

I'm thinking of doing a Frankinmanix cross between the M-4 & Moon Glow Manix to create the awesomeness of the M-4 Moon Glow. :D
