How do you read the label on the box??

Hey guys. Does anybody know how to read the label on the box that your Spyderco knife comes in??

My spderco's include: Full Spyder Edge Cricket (Stainless), Combo Edge Delica 4 (Bi-Directional Grip), Sage 1 (Carbon Fiber), Manix 2 (G-10). :)

are you wondering about the date of manufacture with the two letter code?

I believe I read a post from Paul (the Deacon) that the date code wasn't confirmed. Not sure if I'm remembering that correctly though.

Well if it is the date code in question, and if the conventional wisdom still holds (pending previous post).

The two letters are the date code.

The first letter is the month (A= January, B= February... Do the math from there)

The second letter is the year, begin with 2001 (A= 2001, B= 2002, etc)

Best explanation of SKU Numbers can be found on Spydiewiki

Date codes are as Mark noted. Only question is whether they represent production or packaging date. I'm inclined to think the later, having received knives made outside the US with date codes of the current month.
