Any one know of a stainless steel handled folder that offers the same lightening quick and effortless deployment as the CRKT Drifter BUT in a larger size. 3.75 to 4" blade. That Drifter opening action is extraordinary! Thanks for your help

Spyderco doesn't make very many stainless steel handled knives, and the ones they do make are lockbacks. You can get super smooth opening, but not with all of your criteria.

You might look at the Endura in stainless. I have no idea what a Drifter feels like, but the Endura should be fairly smooth.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Hi ELBOWROOM,
You might also try the inexpensive Byrd Crow, I think it is about the same length and thickness, and nice in G-10, as the drifter. If You like that, it's only just the beginning! lol, Spydies have a way of trapping you! You have been warned! LOL Your going to Love Them !!!
PS Then move onto the Delica and Endura
Just My humble opinion!

SS Police. Handle is fairly thin but I am sure you won't be dissappointed.

It's not SS, but in that size folder, the Ti Millie would be my choice.

Thanks everybody. Definitely going with the Police model. That is one beautiful knife in SS.

I would suggest upgrading to titanium and going with either a Ti Lum or Sage 2-even if it's a bit smaller.

Great choice. It's exactly what I was going to suggest, I absolutely love mine :)
