crawford collab?

#1

Post by chuck buck »

scrolling through the Crawford Custom Knives website i noticed he is using the spyder-hole pretty frequently now. always been a crawford fan... any chance of us seeing a collaboration?

also wondering how the "crawford lock" might fit in with new knife laws? the lock uses your ones grip to press the lock bar into the blade so there is no lock if you dont press hard from what i gather?

Hi Chuck,
Am I emailing the Chuck Buck, owner Of Buck Knives, or is it a co-insidence, that You have the same name?
IF You are the CEO of Buck, I want You to know that I am also a big fan. My favorite is the Buck/Tops colaboration,CSAR-T, it is, other than being a tad heavy is an awesome folder, definitely hard use, and an outstanding looking knife. I notice Your posts on this site, it would appear that You are a big fan of Spyderco! Is this so, and why? I mean, outside the obvious, that Spydies are great! I'm kinda' looking for a story here! Thanks for granting Me an opportunity to converse with You, I an honored!!!
Thanks,
Charlie

If this is Not THE Chuck Buck, Hi, Great name! Bet this happens all the time!

It's also possible his name is Chuck or Charles and he happens to enjoy the Buck brand of knives.

Realize things can change over time, but I recall Sal saying a few years back that, although there's much mutual respect between him and the Crawfords, they have a long running arrangement with another knife company, so a collaboration between them and Spyderco is highly unlikely.
