VG-10 Merlins do exist, at least in SE. Have a look at this thread.BHDKnifer wrote:There are a lot of ATS-55's out there, but I have yet to see a VG-10 FRN.![]()

It's a shame you missed the Centofante 4, and they hardly ever show up on the used market.jackburton9807 wrote:You give me a D4 with a wharncliff blade and I am done buying knives.

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Yes! More fixed blades! For some insane reason NYC has this crazy law making ALL locking knives illegal but fixed under 4" are completely legal. :confused:Mr Blonde wrote:I'd like to see a few small utilitarian fixed blades or gent's fixed blades or fixed pocket knives. Not that I'm not happy with my Krein custom TK11 or Dogfish, but I'd like to see Spyderco try the genre. The Swick/SPOT variants are a little too 'tactical' for my tastes.
I do not buy japanese market knives. 15+ years collecting spyderco and I have yet to see a picture of a VG-10 black FRN in someones collection, in person or for sale. Maybe Sal can let us know. Take care.

Hey guys at Spyderco
I was looking at the catalogue today and couldn't find one:
A Byrd with a wharncliff blade. Could we get a cheap version of a Bewharned?

Well I'd have to say we need a RGEI Pikal FB...that would fill a big gap in the industry for Spyderco....Next...bring back the Santuko...Spyderco hasn't made a decent Kitchen knife since..I have been using mine in the kitchen ever since they came out..it's the only knife in the kitchen I use.....If Spyderco would make a new one...I'd buy 30....keep 2 and give the other 28 as gifts....Doc :D

I'm with ya' on the blade lengths arty. There's a bunch of Byrds that come in just uner 3", but it seem's like every Spydie I want to buy for EDC is 3" or 3-1/8".
Military (G10, PE), Endura II (SS, PE), 93mm Rescue (FRN, SE), Delica (G10, PE), Delica (FRN, CE), Delica Wave (FRN, SE), Delica Wave Trainer (FRN), UKPK Rescue (G10, PE), UKPK Drop Point (G10, PE), Dragonfly (SS, PE), Ladybug (SS, PE), Medowlark (G10, CE), Crow (Aluminum, CE)
Well it finally seems like the "working" Wharnie gaps will be getting filled.
Apart from that a FFG SE hawkbill needs to happen at some stage.....oh while were at it, an S90V SE Millie :p
And yes the return of the Cobra hood!

The only thing I would want is a slight mod to the Military model.
Heavier duty blade like the Endura, and maybe a lock back.
