I carry a Walther P22 3.4" hiking because it is so light, and I can put shots onto 3" repeatably at 25 meters. It's a fun little gun. It is the loudest 22 I've ever heard.

Yup, I've got a few. Can't hardly afford to shoot much of anything else anymore....

I picked up a red dot scope that goes easily between two Rugers, it's real fun, just point and click, but I enjoy open sights best.

Lot's of .22 love here.

I have .22 kits for my ARs and Beretta 92s. 2 Browning Buckmarks, and a 10-22.

I do have a Savage with the accu-trigger but in .17HMR. The trigger is almost as good as an aftermarket trigger. I have mine set to break at about 3lbs.

Blazer bulk pack has been the most accurate of any brand's bulk .22 ammo I've tried. Nice shooting.

First I got to say that the 22LR is the most accurate round one could ever fire...here are two of my favorites

[img][/IMG]
Now that is a Wilkerson Sherry, only has a 1 inch barrel, frame anodized aluminum and is the most accurate pint size gun in my collection....I have won more bets with this gun than any other by making a cig pack dance all over the berm at 100 yards....next up my rifle bought by my father as a gift to me when I was 13 years old. A commemorative Browning, the last of it's kind made in Belgium....it's a beauty and it shoots the tightest groups even with the iron sights...Nice thing is it breaks down into two pieces and can be store in a large glove compartment of the car....You can't see the beautiful engravings (in my pic) of the beavers and squirrels, the gold trigger and the awesome checkering on the stock and fore-end made famous by Browning.

I have others but these are my favorites, next to my NAA .22 mags....Gotta love a .22.....Doc :D

Is that the one that loads through a channel in the stock? If so, I think it is similar to the rifle that began my fascination with firearms. Regardless, yours is quite beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know what to say about the pistol.

Yes 2cha, it loads through a channel in the stock....Thanks guys...when I was 13 I couldn't understand why my father spent so much on a .22 for me when he could have bought one for like one third the price...as an adult I understand why now...Doc :D

Doc i'm with you on the .22LR being an awesome/fun round. You really can't ask for much more than a quality .22 rifle with a nice long range scope when the zombie apocalypse comes....ammo is plentiful, it's super accurate and you can fire it all day without getting a sore shoulder

Love the 17-6. That is a fine looking revolver.

I have several .22s. I absolutely stink at photography and will be out of town for the next few days and away from the gun safe in any case. That is the "long way" of saying "no photos for you." :D

Of my .22s, my favorite is a Smith and Wesson Model 41 auto. It is absolutely the most accurate handgun that I have ever owned and the adjustable trigger is exquisite. My wife likes the Ruger 22/45, but I think it is because she likes the suppressor that is attached. The "memories" guns are the two Model 60 Marlins--the one my Dad owned and hunted with prior to his death and the one he bought me when I was 14.

Some nice firearms were posted in this thread. Shoot well, shoot often, and have fun.

Take care,

Jon

I've got a Marlin 60 (stainless with polymer stock) and my tiny Beretta Model 21 semi-auto pistol. Spend $20 and shoot all day.
