Got a couple Mini's a couple yrs ago.
Gave one to my dad & kept one.
Didnt even realize they have been discontinued.
Are they still around at some shops NIB?
Or have they all dried up?

Warriors and Wonders had ONE LEFT. I got mine from them. They dont generally ship to the States, but I'm sure Jay will make an exception if you call and say you Isaak sent you
Here are some snaps of my newly acquired Spyderco Santa Fe Stoneworks Persian. It features Jet, Mother of Pearl, Black Mother of Pearl, and a nickel silver bug.
Does anyone have a SPYDERCO PERSIAN BLACK MICARTA ~ C83BM that they would be willing to part with? I had mine stolen at a bbq a couple of years ago and bought one of the mini Persians to replace it but it doesn't have the same balance and the geometry seems to work better with the longer blade for cutting...
The FFG/G-10 one is part of the current line up and is very available. If you don't want one of those, I'm sure someone will see one for sale somewhere.

Waiting on a Squeak and Pingo with a Split Spring!
I hope it is not to late to enlist? My Persian 2 is on its way back to me after getting some new scales from Phillip Dobson. He sent me these pics while I wait.

You certainly are not too late, especially with a knife like that! I'm a fan of the lightning strike CF used for the bolster and that is some beautiful wood!

I'm glad I can do my part in fighting the war to protect a thread, dedicated to one of Spyderco's best knives, from fading into oblivion. These next few days waiting on the mail man (or woman) is going to feel like an eternity.
