"RIL" translation?

"RIL" translation?

Just when I thought I was pretty fluent in "Spydietalk", I got stumped. Can some kind soul please tell me what "RIL" stands for?

Reeve Integral Lock it's basically the frame lock

Not exactly. The term frame lock could be applied to any number of locks, for example a compression lock as on the ATR, the all stainless version of AG Russell's One Hand Knife, or even Chris Reeve's own "Lock 45". By saying RIL, or Reeve Integral Lock, you are specifying one particular lock with a certain set of features.
