I don't have a picture, but I really like mine. It's a beautiful, ergonomic, and very well made knife.

I've heard the quality rivals customs. I really can't wait to get mine. Might be a week and a half though...

And do I ever love Micarta!

Excellent knife, and the handle shows why micarta should always be contoured. It just looks so much better that as a flat slab.

The tapered tang in another really classy touch. Only complaint I have is the sheath, IMHO it's just not up to the rest of the knife.

Agreed on the sheath. Of course, this is the awful truth of knife makers almost universally. They're selling you a knife, they generally don't think of a sheath as anything but a place to hold the thing you're really buying from them.

Well I'm glad its Boltaron and not FRN!

I've only heard bad things about FRN sheaths, like, them dulling the knives...

It, with the G-slip will suit my needs just fine, but of course I'll have a final report after I get it.

You're going to love it. The SB is one of the finest small fixed-blade knives made at any price point, custom or otherwise. In fact, at the risk of angering my fellow forum members that prefer folders, I seriously think it's Spyderco's best knife.

I was just stopping by here.....I haven't in a while.....but when I saw your thread I got psyched!

I love the Street Beat. It is my only Spyderco knife. I'm going to pick up a Tenacious sometime soon, but I prefer smaller fixed blades.

I like the G Clip and the Sheath. I haven't had any problems with it and I wear it on my left front hip (near jeans pocket) as a cross-draw with my right hand. The G clip fits on the sheath well and I haven't had problems with it at all.

It feels AMAZING in the hand, the choil in the handle makes it so you can really choke up on the knife and the spine jimping also makes you feel like you are in control of the knife.

It's too pretty for me to bang around, though, so I don't put it through any heavy-duty work.

Awesome knife! If it hasn't arrived yet, you're gonna love it. Beautiful lines, comfortably contoured micarta, extremely sharp out of box. The sheath sort of flakes a little bit when new, but when broken in, is a perfect fit. One of my favorite spydies.

Gorgeous knife. You can't ask for much more in a small fixed blade.

Yeah I got in a while back! What a beauty.

I absolutely love it, and I generally dislike fixies.

It carries super comfortably at the 5 o'clock poition IWB, but, I still feel I'd rather have a Milie clipped to my right pocket.

Its just faster to draw/deploy.

The SB is, as everyone has said, a wonderful blade. I've had mine for about 4 months and it's the one knife that I carry EVERY day. I did away with the clip and carry it in the sheath with a Mercharness. The sheath seems to be workable for me in that configuration but I'm going to make my own ASAP. Enjoy!

I have one, it is a very versatile EDC blade. Great size. Handle is perfection. It cuts like a little scalpel. You are going to be very pleased with it, I'm sure.
+1 on the 5 o'clock IWB

 Tapered tang? The tang on mine appears the same thickness all around. Am I misunderstanding or were there variations?

Totally agree about the sheath. A nicer one would seem more appropriate for such a great knife, but its functional and keeps costs down. I always felt the Warrior deserved a better sheath too.
But then Spyderco is in the knife business, not the sheath business. :D

Measure the thickness of the tang at the butt and directly behind the jimping on the spine or inside the choil.
