Is Cutlery Shoppe my best bet for this knife? Was also wanting it in Blue. (Cutlery didn't have it) Any other colors besides Black, Orange, Pink, Blue?
Would a Spyderco Catalog have all this info for me?

There was a smuf blue Sprint run - gone. Only chance to get it: secondary market. Pricey though.

Same applies to a pink, foliage green and a carbon fiber model with different steels and/or grinds.

There will be a tranclucent blue FRN handle Manix 2.

The only "regular production" model right now is like yours, but with black handles. Oh, and one with a black blade, too.

I suggest you download the catalog.

It seems the seller wanted all the goodness of the CS limited run orange Manix2 - just
without the orange scales.

So what you have is a normal Manix2, but with orange instead of black scales.

That's not a bad trade-off, as long as you didn't pay $120 that the limited run cost.

If you paid the $70 - 80 or so a normal Manix 2 cost, you have a bit of an upgrade, because
few of them will have the orange scales :)

Apart from the last one with the lanyard, the rest are official sprint/special versions of the Manix 2. There are 2 additional versions available now and more future models coming.

Beautiful Collection!!
Should I be getting a pink also? They seem to be in the $80-90 range...so far. Why does Spyderco do pink? I notice it on the Delicas(?) too.

The Pink Native was created for breast cancer awareness http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=366

As far as why the Delica, Endura, and Manix are in pink.... I dont really know. Maybe market to the women out there.

I had a pink manix2 which I wasnt crazy about. I rit dyed it purple... Looks pretty nice.

The pink manix 2 actually looks pretty good, not a real bright pink more of a pastel dull pink. They're still available, but will sell out in the future.

You have what you have...short of further franken-kniving ;) it will be as it is, since parts are not available short of obtaining a donor knife and hoping everything bolts back together properly and functions safely. 154CM is not at all a bad steel, and the hollow ground blade is not a bad blade.

I have a pink factory second that I picked up....I like it but I blacked out the liners.
I also blacked out my original Orange Manix 2.

Both are done with Cerakote....a ceramic based firearms finish....same stuff some of the big names use on there production blades.

I am just going to throw this out there in case you don't know but since the knife appears to be made using two different knives the factory warranty is void.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Thanks for the comment. I actually bought 2 pink Manix 2 to complete the collection and also to make myself an orange (pretty close to pink for a dye job) Manix 2. But before I could even get to it, the orange one came along. So I had an extra pink one left over. I chose to go with a dark brown dye instead and you can see the results. I think it's a good color and it replaced my old Saber grind Delica in the garage.

Honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of Manix 2 variant in such a short time. I'll probably sell off the 3rd green M2 with the CTS-XHP blade. That knife came with what I think is an top tier super steel (I consider S90v to be an "exotic" steel), and I wanted a backup. But somehow, I forgot about a duplicate pre-order and ended up with a third. That and the 2nd sprint run towards the end of the year flooded the market for a sprint run.

You and me both! Everything is a Sprint anymore it seems, I know that's not true but it does feel that way. Look how many Manix 2 sprints have been made just during the time that the regular production Para 2 has been backordered...

Definitely, and there is some question about whether it is really safe. Spyderco manufacturing standards and tolerances are excellent, but these aren't Lego blocks.

Just FYI, looks like the CS Manix 2 is gone. Hope all orange lovers got theirs in time. :) I love mine.

Glad to hear CS "Jeff" managed to sell his full order, great guy to do business with. I picked up a couple but have since gifted them away, guess I should have kept a spare or ordered another before they sold out. The way the limited Sprint Runs have been going lately they can always make another run of the same knife if sales are there, however in this case I doubt it sold out fast enough to warrant that. Enjoy the orange!
