Millie

Post by Rev. Chuck »

Just arrived today, and it made me retire my enduras, delicas, tenacious, persistence, resilience, etc, to my Spyderpac.

I fell in love with the Millie, it has become my edc blade, I don't know how I lived before this :)

Ahhh. Welcome to the friggin' club. There are few who find the Milie and ever go back to prefer another blade :D

When I first started collecting Spyders, I vowed to never get a Military, because it was just so common. Then I finally handled one, and, have never gone back to loving another knife more.

It carries a lot flatter and smaller than you would think. :)

How does it carry compared to the police3? do you guys actually carry it in your pocket, or by your waist?

Clipped to the pocket for sure.

IMO it carries BETTER than the Police 3, and is also more comfortable overall.

The Millie is lighter than most people would imagine. I have many spydies now and i still go back to carrying it daily. Just the perfect knife for my purpose!!!! Cant say enough about it!!!

Owned and carried both....IMO, the Millie carries better due to being thinner and lighter....

I was surprised at how "light" it was, it is .25oz heavier than a Tenacious.

Ah, if only the length were legal here. Still, that's a lot of blade to be carrying around NKP.

The Military never interested me. I carried Emersons or Striders for years.. But when the orange model came out I had to have one and as they say the rest is history. Not only is the Military my favorite knife I think its one of the very best folders ever. :D

Couldn't agree more. Everyone knows how well this knife cuts and how light it is, but I don't think people realize how strong it is. Those nested liners and 4mm of S30V make for one **** of a work horse.

Not to mention the handle and negative blade angle are spot on.

I have a Military. Its a great knife, I carry it whenever I spend time in the wilderness (camping, hiking, etc) but I don't like it as an EDC. Its funny actually, of the 50+ Spydies I own, my Endura Spyderedge is my go to knife and has been for more than 10 years now.

Are you referring to Ohio? I carry mine in Ohio all the time and have never seen any blade length laws.

Love the millie, my favorite EDC.

Yep...it's very "fuzzy" worded but 3 inches is the general rule but some city/counties have their own unique laws. One town close to me is 2.5 inches. I don't go to that town ;)

Most will tell you, just don't do anything stupid and you'll be ok but others will tell you that if you're carrying ANY knife for reasons other than the obvious like hunting, and you're stopped for something, it's a problem. I have yet to be stopped or harassed but i play it safe and try to stick with 3 inches.

Oh and NKP means non knife people, which was what i referred to. Some of those sheeple get all freaked out when you pull out a knife like a Mili to dig under your nails.
