Don't mind me... I'm just 1/2 blind

What a way to spent the xmas season... Home for the holidays to get my cataracts taken care of.

Left eye was done this afternoon, and I can 1/2 see with it... Red haze on everything that should be gone in the morning, but enough that I'm not watching a movie today.

Followup in 7.5hrs according to my clock, and back for the right eye in a week. Woo.

While I am next to a computer and have 2 cell's on me 24/7, I'm not really online for a bit till I can actually see the screen with both eyes (as I sit and type this on a 3" screen  )

Seeing better this morning than I was last night (1/2 able to see the keyboard on my laptop). The haze is down to 15-20% of last night, so another day or so of that to look forward to

I *WAS* able to see well enough to read at his office today, then got more numbing drops put in to ease the scratchy/gritty feeling... and now it's all fuzzy again.

Back again for all this fun on the right eye on the 29th, hopefully I can see straight to go to work on the 4th, might have to call my boss for the conference call from my apartment.

left eye was great... 3-4 days to clear up, and other than reading distance being ~18" past my arm, no issues.

right eye was a "deeper" cataract... left me with a killer headache that day (slept most of the next 18hrs), took a week for the red haze to go and I still have a haze on it. Iris doesn't respond correctly (either it's 3x the size of the left or 1/2 the size of the left)... was supposed to get a call from the doc for a followup to book in 4-6 weeks, have to call them tomorrow (seat sale on till friday, save a bit on my flight if I can book it soon).

so I'm still technically 1/2 blind... walking around with bloodshot eyes looking like this 0.o
