Just got three in the mail, nice knife, however, my husky torx wrench does not have an bit that will fit. Have they changed the size? As it worked on all of my other spydercos. Also I can not see any teeth inside the screws they look almost smooth. Anyone with an expience similiar.

Funny, I had been thinking about starting a thread on this. The clip screws are not Torx, but 1/16" Hex, as I believe are the other small screws (the pivot is obviously larger).

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

I got drivers for all the screws, but the clip.

I gave up searching and filed in some slots for a flathead driver.
When there is time I will replace the clipscrews, but the knife itself is a beauty!

My Persistence ended up being 1/16" ...I did strip the last one and i got it out by carefully cutting a slot in the head of the screw with a hacksaw so i could get a flathead in there... One thing I don't like about the chinese knives is the quality of the hardware. Luckily I have some more screws coming in the mail.

the hex tools worked, I changed all of them to tip up carry. Does anyone really carry tip down?

On mine everything but the clip screws are metric hex. clip is 1/16th hex. Mine's tip down, thats just the way I like it for opening.
