Does anyone out there have a
FG UKPK with jimping on the forefinger choil?"
My
Orange UKPK has it .. my
FG Urban has it .. my
Orange Urban Wharncliffe has it.
So I'm wondering why the
FG UKPK does not .
*edit ..

Welcome to the forum and hi again. :)
I have a UKPK Second at home and I think it does, but I'll double check this when I get home.

My FG UKPK (Leaf shape) has jumping on the choil and thumb ramp. If yours doesn't, that's very strange...I would send it into Golden and have them look at it. Email the warranty department and they'll let you know what's up

Mine doesn't and I actually prefer no choil jimping.

Hmm that's strange. I thought TS's must be a factory mistake, but it sounds like there are a lot out there like that--maybe they added the choil jimping after some FG ones were already out. I'm glad mine has it

Here's my answer on the jimping ...
The first years of UK's did not have jimping and it was a rolling change that was made so the more recent versions have the the jimping.
Thank you & have a great day.

Interesting discovery. My orange G10 UKPK has a CC# on it, therefore it was in the first batch ever (Jan-08) according to the box. NO index jimping!

The orange G-10 UKPK would be a variant and should be marked as such (###V). Meaning that particular colored UKPK began production in 2008.
The UK Penknife was introduced in 2004 and in the catalog in 2006.
