Special shout-out to Charlynn of Spyderco:

This spring I bought a secondhand Caly3 with some bladeplay. I unscrewed it it and found out the pivot was tempered with and worn.
I emailed Spyderco a month ago and mentioned my second-owner Caly and the fact what I found out by unscrewing the Caly. I received a kind email back from Charlynn who just needed my homeaddress here in Germany. No costs, just my address. This morning the pivot (and a fresh product guide :D )
fell in my mailbox.

Thanks Charlynn and Spyderco, THAT IS SERVICE. I know you guys and girls were good but this does the trick!

Cheers from Western-Europe,
Tomas

I have to agree with you. Charlynn kicks butt!

I once I had user delica I sent in for sharpening. I get a phone call that the lock was unsafe and that they were giving me a brand new one. I even got to choose what type of edge I wanted(PE,SE,CE).

I am sure shes gotten an employee of the month award at least once

Charlynn is the best. All my dealings with her have been great, and she often goes above and beyond the call of duty. Image

I agree that the level of customer service she provides if far and above any customer service I have received just about anywhere. Knife companies as well as non knife companies included. Three cheers for Charlynn!

Let me be the latest to praise Charlynn of Spyderco's customer service department. I called recently about a concern regarding the bushings in my Ambitious and was informed she'd send me out a few replacements. Emailing back the next day I asked if she could also include a couple replacement allen head screws for my Persistence. A couple days later I received the parts requested free of charge along with sample Locktite tube in order to properly affix the screws. She's very pleasent, professional, and a joy to deal with. Customer service associates like her are rare today and she makes for a wonderful experience. I hope you're listening Spyderco execs! Your people as well as your product are what makes your company great.
