For me it is clear. AN Old Al Mar Warrior? But I am not sure if I am replying your question...

I'll probably be talking with Bob sometime this week and will mention it. Looks kinda like a Gaijin Warrior, but those all had markings, so could be custom.

Based on the knives that Bob Taylor showed us during the interviews we did for the Warrior book, that one looks like a Taiwanese knock-off. The giveaway is the screwdriver tip, which never appeared on the Al Mar, REKAT, or any other legit version of the knife.

A similar knife is shown on page 42 of the Spyderco Warrior book.

Didn't see the screwdriver tip - sorry. Definitely a knock-off then.

This is a knockoff the screwdriver tip and the tapered skull crusher with the hole in it is the giveaway.The serrations are also wrong from what I can tell in the picture.

Hold on I have a uniform serrated version matching that description that was made in Seki Japan.It has a blood groove as well.

None of the AMK or REKAT”S had a blood groove or fuller. There were a number of knock offs with a number of variants. The "Warrior Path" Mike Janich wrote is the best history of the Warrior linage. Ebay has had a number of outright frauds. One scumbag claimed he had the original prototypes he bought in 1978. The original prototype while looking like a Warrior was very different from all the Al Mars and later REKATS. Thanx Bob.

While Mike's Booklet comes with each Warrior, it is also available though SFO.

It is truly amazing how much BS is slung around the knife industry.

Knock off, for certain. Saw a fair number like this, in one variation or the other, in Baghdad and Kurdistan marketplaces. Some were quite good and for a use/throw-away blade very cost effective.
