I voted for choice #1, but what I would actually like to vote is:

I have a Para 2, absolutely love it, and have both sprints on pre-order. :D

I voted 2. I have the Carpenter on preorder. I won't be able to afford much until the new year, so I will have to wait till them.

I don't have or want one right now. Not that it isn't a nice knife or anything, just not interested in one right now.

I have both sprints on pre-order. At this rate, I'll probably get one of those before the regular. Either way, I'd be happy to get one.

I am happy with the Para with Digi-Camo and I would rather get the Military next.

I have nothing against the the P2.

Im a late comer to the Para line. Originally didnt like the short blade, long handle ratio and didnt like complock first time I tried it, BUT, the improvements on the Para 2 looks so well thought out that I had to pull the trigger. I love this knife - light, good size blade, big handle to grip, one hand open close comp lock, etc. Im a big fan now.

I started this poll because I'm firmly in category 2 and wanted to know how many like me are suffering...

I voted #1. Have it. Love it. Can't take it out of my pocket. I just got the Sprint run Persian and cannot make myself carry it because I can't let go of the Para II.

I have 4 of the older style Para's and they never got much pocket time. I'm left handed, the knife stuck out of my pocket like a surf board but it looked **** good laying on my desk!!

The new Para addressed every issue I ever had with the older model and I simply could not love it more or think of 1 single thing I would change about it.

This knife comes as close to a grail as I can think of. I finally picked up a Spyderco that if I had to just keep one, that would be it!

I couldn't find one in stock for a few weeks. I ended up pre-ordering the S90V sprint.

I am waiting on a Para2 and hopefully the budget will be growing faster than the manufacturing delivery..

I voted for #2 but really I should say that I would love a Para 2 but I just can't justify buying one ... it's quite pricey and it is a locker so it would be an expensive house-knife or drawer queen here :(

Only the sprint versions are pricey. When the regular Para2 was available, I recall seeing it on several sites going for as low as $107. In fact, there were several threads / topics discussing how the Para2 is so much more affordable than the Para1.
