Darn, I'll be disappointed if the one I get doesn't have those markings on the blade. :(

JNewell wrote:Using PP's "protection" policy to zing the vendor for not sending something that's not shown and not promised would be pretty...sketchy, as my kids say.
i dont think you understood me. maybe i should have given more info so you wouldnt make such a comment.

repeated calls and emails not repsonded too. the fact they wont do orders over the phone, the fact they DONT have a customer service number and the fact the the pics on the site wont open to see what your getting. well then id say its sketchy to begin with. if i wait and wait and never get a repsonse and i miss sout on something i want then that is no good. if i cant get and answer and then say "screw it ill just buy it" and its not to my liking then i **** well better get my money back from paypal.
my money, my paypal, i will do as i want. if you feel like im burning a vendor then ask him to do a better job on his business practices.
maybe its me thinking im crazy to actually want to get someone one the phone?

another reason im not feeling this guy.
a restocking fee is sketchy imo also. its called business, some extra activity is needed to make things run smoothly. a restocking fee is a way to punish you for not "keeping" a product. all the top spydie sellers we all use, none of them have a restocking fee. i think that what thought up by a clever salesman long ago as a way to stick it to you.

After watching the video three more times I think I was wrong about the markings on the blade (I think I see them). Either way what a unique Ladybug.

Thanks Tony! Did you get expedited shipping, or what? According to UPS, as of 3:00 this morning mine was still in the land of fruits and nuts. :D

The video certainly seems to show that it has the CAGE designation on the back, as you can see from the screen grabs below. Also comes in a normal box.

I agree; I think it's just a fuzzy-focus issue.

I think most of the time I haven't gotten tracking #s from CC. You guys are killing me. I'm going to order one. If I disappear for a while, it's because I'm in the witness protection program. ;)

Anyone know why the price of the orange Salt ladybug is so much higher than that of the yellow Salt model?

It's actually between the yellow MSRP and usual discounted street price. This isn't a mass-market item, so it's not surprising that it's a little more expensive.

Yep, single source items are often more expensive, especially when that single source is not an internet knife dealer.

I'm too braindead to answer this question - is this the first orange FRN knife from Spyderco? There have been plenty of orange G10 knives, but I don't recall orange FRN before... ?
