Lately my biggest users have been my s90v Military and PE Tasman.

My slightly modified C111 Captain. It's the perfect mechanics knife.

Bradley for me. Can't put it down, no matter how much I try to carry my XHP Manix 2 or M4 Millie instead. The millie is my favorite, just too big to edc.

1st run Gayle Bradley is here to stay! I've rotated to others, but ultimately have come back to this amazing knife. I think all I may need is the GB, and perhaps a small hawkbill to make me happy...Wait I also have another Para D2 headed this way as well :o

always loved the Delica, carried them all from the first generation (fat clip) to the current Delica 4, still i love the Delica carbon fiber for its slimness, great clip, pointy tip & over all the classiness of the shiny carbon fiber.

If I were to eliminate every knife I own except one for EDC I would keep my Michael Walker w/ZDP-189 and CF handle (only choices). This was a sprint run that I hope sticks around. I've read several times where people have said they may get a second knife of the exact same model just to have a backup. I never really understood that feeling until now. I would like to have a backup of the MW in case mine falls out of the boat or something. If I were to give my son a knife as a present my choice would be the Michael Walker. Knowing him I think he would look at it and think "why would Dad choose this one?". I believe however, that he would come to learn why I chose it after a short time of using it.

I'll also list the few other Spydercos I own because the MW may be my choice because of a lack of options that a lot of you guys have by owning so many more knives.

Stretch, blue w/ZDP-189: Definately my second choice for EDC.

Endura w/VG-10: (old one with rivets) Great knife just a little to big for EDC.

Byrd Wings: Great knife for my work belt.

Michael Walker would be my choice if limited to one. But, I usually carry the MW and Stretch as well in case I need a longer blade.

Jack

PS
I want a Delica 4 w/ZDP-189 and it is on my Christmas list (if I wait that long). The MW blade is 2.5" and the Stretch is 3.5" long. Since I like to carry both based on the difference in blade length I think the Delica 2 7/8" blade might be "the one" since the blade length is right in the middle of the other two.

Since I got it almost three weeks ago, it's my M4 Millie. In general, for EDC it's usually some variety of Millie or another for me, but the M4 Millie may just be my favorite now.

If we're talking the knife that sees the hardest use and not just the most use, that would be my Rock Salt which sees lots of use almost every weekend in the yard. It is scratched, chipped and dirty but keeps coming back for more...and more and more! :D
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

Excellent replies thus far. Nice to see some Salts, Ladybugs & Delicas listed as I wanted to keep this about actual work and not just favorites. I'm a headend tech for Comcast and I strip a lot of wire, rubber/plastic sheathing, nylon cord and such and the G10 D'fly is the perfect size. I have used a Millie before but it's a whole lot more blade than needed and gives a better chance at practicing first aid in my case!

Hi hickster,

Can you share what all the mods are on your Captain?

This one is used most right now.

Close second (when the modified Delica looses the edge or gets all gummed up with adhesive) is the Micarta Dyad Jr:

The spine of the blade has been ground down a bit and the "notch" in front of the Spyderhole has been ground in deeper and now acts as a wave notch. The handle and liner were opened up for better access for the liner lock and at the same time, better access for the Spyderhole when closed.
The Captain's blade has a fairly thick (saber?) grind that takes a lot of abuse. The hawkbill section is great for pulling cuts like wire, hose, split-loom, rope, etc. The front of the blade is perfect for cutting gaskets, cutting old hose off of a barbed fitting, scraping, etc.
I really want to get a couple of extras for backup but the prices on them are getting up there :(

It's been the G-10 Dragonfly for me since I got it 6 months ago. It gets carried 90 % of the time. Perfect size for work and when picking up the kids from school. Now waiting for the H1 Dragonfly to come out :)

I have a group that gets rotated through but the one use the most would be my FRN Stretch, followed closely by my ladybug hawk.
