I recieved my second Spyder yesterday. It is a police3 VG10 PE with a G10 handle, and it will be my EDC and SD knife. Im very pleased with it, it feels great in the hand. Love the blade, the handle and the very solid construction.

Any of you own it, what do you think?

It really feels adicctiveB-) I want the harpy, but not with a SS handle as it gets slippery with blood on it for SD). My first one was a Catherman for fishing. Now im about to buy a fully SE Delica, and want a PE Paramilktary, or similar with
a slightly smaller blade:-)

P3 is a great knife.
Many a time has it gone on quests with me for SD.

I have had my SE P3 for almost three years now. Mine is an EDC and gets used very often. I am sending it to Spyderco to get it sharpened and cleaned up. It is one of my favorite knives. It has had more pocket time then any other knife I own.

Congrats on the P3! I typically carry a pair on duty. One PE and one serrated! Welcome aboard. Take care and God Bless! ;)

I received my P3 PE today...it's not my second Spyderco, I have quite a few.
After handling it a bit, I realized I should have gotten it a lot sooner!

I'd seen it recommended repeatedly but I thought it would be too big or just too much knife, but the design makes everything seem in perfect proportion. Opens smoothly and naturally, fits the hand almost perfectly.
Excellent example of a relatively simple idea done simply correctly.

It may not be my favorite Spyderco, but I think it will definitely be in the top 5.

Since I foolishly ignored the recommendations of forumites on the P3 for so long, I'm think I may need to break down and get what seems to be the most recommended one...the millie. :D

I do have a Para2, but I had been avoiding the millie for much the same logic as the P3.

Love the police models, My 2nd favorite behind Military models. I have 8 police knives in the collection. I really like the old school G-10 models, I have an extra G-10 flat grind plain edge for EDC.
I would really like to see a sprint run Police in Foliage Green G-10. :)
