Ti-Military- Im a Convert!!!

#1

Post by big70tom »

I have been a Benchmade only guy for a long time. I recently got into Titanium Framelocks, and had the pleasure of buying the Ti-Military. I am impressed.... I love this stinking knife!! I love the flat gring, I LOVE the Spyderco Hole(which I never thought I would) I love everything about this knife!!!! Im considering the Sage next. I now am a believer that there is more than 1 company that makes quality knives!!!

Welcome! Spyderco does make great quality products. I switched years ago and haven't looked back. In my opinion, the Spyderco hole is the only way to go. I hope you stick around and enjoy your new knife. I have the Sage 2 and it's top notch. :)

- best wishes, Jazz.

Welcome to the club. It seems like the people who don't believe are the ones who never give them a chance.

I have a hard time giving BM a chance. :(

Welcome Tom

The thumb stud is probably the single most deterring factor that keeps me away from bm folders. Holes are mandatory for me.
There are tons of other flat grinds out now and ready to be snatched up as well.

I feel that spyderco makes more purposeful, high value knives.

Having said that I Love many Benchmade knives as well! Embracing both brands is even more fun than picking one! :D :D

And welcome to Spyderco. I think that many people formulate opinions based on the way some things look. I personally do not find Spydercos to be ugly, but some do and put off trying them because of it.

I think tools have beauty in use...and superior tools are beautiful in their own right. I also feel like some things are ugly before I use them, then I change my mind and think they are beautiful after I use them.
Thanks,

Welcome! Yes, diversification is a nice thing, and the Spyderco Ti Military is definitely a good introduction to Sal's wonderful products.
