Got my new PPT in the mail today!! Initial impressions, I love this knife. Feels great in my hand, comes open lightening fast, locks up tight, balanced in the hand. Very very happy with this knife. Pictures coming soon.

It is a great knife. Very solid, and amazing fit and finish. Enjoy it.

Congrats! The PPT is cool in every way (though it could be a little lighter). :o

After carrying this all day today I like it even more. This will quickly become my favorite knife I think. People are saying it should be lighter but I like the weight. Gives it a good balanced feel. Wouldn't want it lighter.

+1 on the perrin, it ranks up there with my Manix 2, love the feel and the heft, very solid feeling knife. :)

I couldn't agree with you more. 5oz. does not a heavy knife make. The PPT is very graceful. The weight and balance pull the knife back into your palm rather than having a weightless handle where the blade pulls the knife away from you.
