Help me spend my money

#1

Post by NAKK77 »

Here is the scenario! Not looking for anything in peticular, just looking for a pure enjoyment knife. Something I'll enjoy messing with for hours.

I've come into around 100 bucks, plus or minus a little, and I'm trying to decide what to buy. Help me decide what i should get. Thought about the Para 2, but have not been unable to find any in stock. Also looked at a PPT; and a Sage 1 (Sage 2 a little above my price range). Here is what spydies I have right now: Endura FFG; Delica FFG; Police G10; Manix2; Stretch 2.

THanks guys.

I would say try a Sage. I don't own one but would like to. Or a G-10 Dragonfly or Urban.

You need to find 40 bucks more and get sprint C83 Persian, they will not be around for long.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

For a pure enjoyment knife I would second (or third) the PPT.
For the ultimate EDC I'd go with the Para 2.

YMMV

Street Beat! Street Beat! Street Beat!

Or a Military.

Both are spectacular knives just for fun, though both will ask you to throw in two or three Jacksons with your Franklin.

Any of your choices would be good. But +1 to paying a little more for the red Persian. It's a small price to pay for years of enjoyment.

Stretch FRN w/ZDP-189 blade. You can get them around the web for slightly less than $100 (not necessarily from a knife store). Awesome ergonomics and steel. Add about $40 and you can get a Stretch CF w/ZDP-189 which is the best EDC I've ever had and I've had more than a few.

I doubt that the Stretch FRN w/ZDP-189 blade will be around forever, either.
