Attention MBC Alumni!

Dear MBC Alumni (and future alumni):

One of the most common questions I get from folks who complete MBC classes is "How can I get more practice?" To provide one solution to that question, I've convinced Spyderco to allow MBC alumni to audit classes they've already taken for a nominal fee of $50.00 per class. In other words, if you've completed MBC level 2, but want some more practice in those skills, you can come back and go through level 2 again.

Auditing students will be accomodated on a space-available basis and first-time participants in a class will receive first priority. Registration for classes follows the same procedure as first-time students, just tell the folks at SFO that you're coming back to audit a class. They'll confirm that you're an alumnus and register you accordingly. Again, the fee is a flat $50.00 per day. Food and refreshments will be provided, but no "freebie" items or certificates will be issued.

I hope this will give MBC students more oportunity to train on a regular basis and reinforce the skills that they learned the first time around.

As always, I welcome your comments and suggestions and will do my best to meet your needs with the MBC program.

Stay safe,

Hi Mike,
That's great. Thanks Mike and Spyderco. Yet another reasons for me to move to Co.

WOW, what a deal! I just signed up to re-take (audit) levels 1 & 2 again in May.

I appreciate all of the hard work and time you (and Matt) put into the MBC program and now the ability to re-take the classes at a drastically reduced cost. Thank you

Mike, once again I would like to thank you for extending this wounderful opportunity to your MBC students. It is a world class opportunity to recieve world class training at a reduced price.

This past weekend (September 14 & 15) I took advantage of the Alumni discount for the third time. The only thing I don't understand is why more people don't take advantage of this chance. Every time I take one of your classes over, I enjoy it more than I did the previous time.

Thank you, I appreciate everything you do for your students and all of the extra time and effort you put into the MBC program.

I apologize for posting the previous post 3 times. The computer kept returning a server error message each time I submitted it. Luckily I gave up after three tries.

Mike, I would appreciate it if you would/could delete two copies of the redundant post. Thanks

Man, I have GOT to visit the Forum more often! I am definitely going to take advantage of the Alumni program. What a great way to feed the habit! Hats off to Spyderco and the crew (and Matt & Mike) for making this available.

Best,

Todd
