My favorite has been the Rookie with G-10 and a plain edge. It has a great blade to handle length. The ATS-55 steel seems to be much more stain resistant than the ATS-55 in my Endura. (Which I traded off and purchased a VG-10 version.) I would highly recommend a Rookie, especially now that it has been discontinued. If I remember correctly, I paid $88 for it, mail order.
Foul! Unfair question! For those who attended the Spirit of Steel show, play is not ready to resume. (Too many Spydies on the field or about to be on the field!) You are assessed some kinda -points for confusion of game and made to go buy another Spydie!
I have to say a Rescue with a spyder edge in the original round handle made out of zytel. My next one would be an Endura with a spyder edge and a zytel handle. However, I am starting to like my spyder card.
To carry: 1) Ladybug (hate to admit it, but I love 'em and they don't get much respect) 2) Endura FRN 50/50 (takes on everything, pretty solid and light)
To look at and caress: 1) Walker CF; 2) Ti Herbst; 3)Lum Chinese
I'm suprised by the wide range of responses. I do agree with those saying the 'Bug doesn't get any respect, though.
The whole **** forum knows mine : the SE cricket is my EDC and I think it gets the job done for such a small blade. For the "Rambo" type, it would have to be the Tim Zowada C56, followed closely by the Mili
P&S. ****, I like'em ALL!
