newer Militaries have a time stamp on the blade, but I'm pretty sure older models don't

you might wanna look at:
- the clip side of the knife. If you see another set of the Torx assembly screws, your model is circa 1998-2000. If not, it is 1996-1998
- the liner. At first the liners were polished, after that bead blasted. Your's seem to be bead blasted, so again a hint towards 1998-2000
- the clip. 1996-1998 models had 2-screw polished clips, yours is 3-screw black, so as generic timeline I'd guess it's safe to presume your Millie was built between 1998 and 2000

or I can be altogether wrong, I've been many times before :)

Agree with brj. The slightly curved, three screw clip was used starting in 1998 so yours was produced 1998 or later. Some time in 2001, the place of manufacture was moved from the blade to the ricasso, so yours was built before that change. So, 1998-early 2001 is possible. I think boxes used the dating system on their labels at that time, so if you had a box that would give us a very precise time.

I got my info here.

Torx clip screws are a recent change, within 2-3 years. I would guess 98-2000.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.
