spyderco shoutout - great support

#1

Post by gmand16 »

I was modding the clip on my military (removing the black), and when I was putting the screws back in, one of them stripped. (using a t-6, I noticed a bit of play but had no other alternative seeing as how it is a t-6 that's supposed to be used). Anyway, I called warranty and they are sending me new screws free of charge. This is not a significant cost for spyderco, but many companies would charge for something like that, or place blame on the user, neither of which happened.

Spyderco keeps etching itself deeper in my heart.

I will have pics of the modded clip up soon, looks awesome!

I modded the clip on my s90v Millie the same(removed the paint). I think it

looks better but the clip stands out more on darker pants. I Like It Better. ;)

Charlynn has sent me a couple of nc items in the past!

I've yet to lose or break any screws on any of my Spydies, but I know Customer Service will take care of me if I needed help, charge or no charge!
