There's also the consideration that even some "stock" colors of G-10 may cost more than others. Hard to say how many of the folks who voted for the M2 would still be interested if it cost more than $86.
Sequimite wrote:Oh $H1T, I blew that big time. In the video Wouter posted Eric refers to the FRN Manix2 as a US made knife. Since I left it off the model selection poll it didn't get a chance to be selected.

However, since it may not be out this year, I guess we can ignore it.
No problem, we all do it sometimes, or at least I do. :) Just didn't seem logical, given the price point of the G-10 version and the higher production costs in Japan. Thought maybe someone had said it would be GIN-1 and you made the same incorrect leap of logic I made the first time I read the FRN UKPK would be using that. :o

I'd agree that its non-appearance in supplement does not bode well for its release this year, so leaving it out of the poll was not a bad decision. Be worse to have a landslide vote for something that turns out to be impossible for Spyderco to give us.

Thank you for clarification. You made me feel better. I love my Lil T and after plans for Lil Temp2 to go Japanese, I was not shocked, but feel sorry for M2 FRN go the same way.
Thanks again

I added $3 to the estimated price of each knife to cover the probable higher cost for different G10.

I'm with araneae. Leave the Hi-vis green to the USN knives.

Neat - does that include the see-through/"clear" version??? Or maybe what I should ask is: will there be a clear version?

Last call for color nominations before the poll goes up.

Nice colors, but the brightness, color blend and depth can't be duplicated in single color FRN.

Why nix tug's idea when he's just giving example pictures, as you requested? They don't look any less producible in FRN than the example you gave.

I also say BLUE FRN. For example:

As The Deacon suggested, white would look good too.
