Why is the Para-Military2 (pm2) listed @ $169 at the store (online catalog) and $199 on Spyderco’s 2010 catalog (catalog misprint)? Which is the correct price? I’m assuming $169 as that’s what I paid.
Is it possible that the price on the pm2 will go up to $199 MSRP?
TIA

Thanks Sal! :spyder: :)sal wrote:Hi Joe,
This seems to be a popular question. Spyderco is experimenting with lower margins on some models to see if the lower retail price will increase volume sufficiently to carry the difference.

FWIW, the :spyder: PM2 is one high-quality, ergonomic and (mine came to me) ferociously-sharp knife, a sure winner in my book!

thanks sal. i think the PM2 is priced just right to be competitive with competitor's non-afi hard use folders, and its better to boot. hope this becomes one of spyderco's most successful models and reaches a broad audience.sal wrote:Hi Joe,
