Hey guys! I have been lurking for a while but decided to finally make my first post. I got a Persistence about a month back and I loved it, but I wanted to see what all the fuss with non China-made Spydercos was all about. Trying to make my next purchase I got the Spyderco bug and I feel like I will probably be buying more knives that I need from here on out. I just today got my first Delica and now I can't wait to buy a Golden made knife! Here is a pic of my Grey FFG Delica 4:

I really like the grey handles...they complement the silver blade very nicely.

I really really like this Delica. It opens much more smoothly than my persistence. The FRN does feel "cheaper" compared to the g-10, but I actually prefer the lightweight aspect of it (plus the grey is just plain sexy). I still think the Persistence is a good knife, but I will more than likely never buy another China made :spyder:

Manix 2 mania

I also have been recently collecting the o so sweet MANIX 2's. In my opinion they are the best spyderco design yet! I absolutely LOVE them. It's also really cool that there were so many variations made, nearly each with a different blade steel, FFG blades, and awesome eye popping colors. Right now the only two I don't have is the Carbon Fiber with the S90V steel (on the way via USPS right now) and the p popping pink one, which I think I will end up getting as well, for my wife, of course.

As long as we're showing non Spydies too here's what I've bought this week. My first Bark River, the Canadian Special and a large Case stockman, felt like going a bit traditional. Bh49 that Mcusta looks fantastic...

Did also receive some non spyderco's but this is my latest :spyder :p urchase.

A real oldie and i like it even better than the new.

Ats 34 military.

Came with play on the liner lock  .
Lock up was halfway (is normal for me as my other militaries were the same).
But after reassembling and cleaning the knife no more play in the liner and the lock up is very early.
I really like this military pivot system.
Would like spyderco to put it back.

Got this yesterday, a Large BM Bone Collector handle/frame and a stock 520 blade...nice knife.

But in all fairness the one most in my pocket these days is my Sage 2 which I've had for a few weeks now. The Sage 1 in NIB and not carried.

Gayle bradley finally arrived!!!!!!

Post by BigBrad75 »

I finally got my Spyderco Gail Bradley (bottom) in the mail today! Thank heavens, I had been waiting on that thing forever! On top is my next newest addition to my collection, the Spyderco Micheal Walker (Top). I love the carbon fiber on both of them. The Micheal Walker is smooth carbon fiber and the Gayle Bradley is textured. Perfect EDC combo! Now I can't wait for that Carbon Fiber Manix 2 with the S90V blade steel. Gotta love the CF, I know I do!Image
