more difficult to get. Last time I checked few dealers, all of them are out of C105 75 mm Persians.
Looking a little more at the design, I think I now must have one (and I really would like the large one). :D

But I fear it will never happen unless Sal proclaims a sprint run. Please, Sal... You know they would sell out before they hit the shelves!

I'm relatively new to Spydies so I don't know or really have an affinity with the older models so I am tempted to say the Chicago, as it was high on my list to buy. Just love the little leaf-blade with the big spydie-hole and the CF handles ... would be perfect if it had been a SLIPIT :D
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

Also, I wasn't aware that some dealers might have a few stragglers in stock -- I thought it was long gone from years ago. I will have to take a closer look, now!
I am sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I do not know any dealers who has C83 or C105 in stock, sorry.

A lot of beauty of Persians are in use. keep your eye on secondary market and if you patient enough you can get used C83 at half of the price for new.
A little while ago few of the pop-up on e-bay and were sold for $100-120.
good luck.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

The ones that come to mind first are
-Dodo
-Yojimbo
-Ronin
-Persian
-Poliwog SS

Thankfully I own the Dodo and Poliwog. I will be getting my Yojimbo today :D
Owned a Persian and it was one amazing knife, just traded it for another that I wanted more. I hope to pick another C83 up one day and also a Ronin :)

Now that the Rock Salt is Disco'd I will add that to the list :)

Manix
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

I have to agree. I do enjoy my Manix 2 (favorite lock of all time), but there is something about the closed, smooth spine of the lockback Manix that still calls to me.

delica/endura 3

i know that very similar knives still exist in the h-1 salt series but i like the very useful pointy tip

how about bringing these back with ffg's sal? you'd be looking at under 2 ounces for the delica and under 3 ounces for the endura surely

those would be some wicked lightweight folders

Favorite disco'd Spydies that I still carry often would include Jess Horn ZDP, Shabaria, Kiwi, and Yojimbo.
One that I do not carry would be the Lum fixed blade tanto.
And for old times sake, throw in a Worker.
